The central image of the obverse is a stylised flying dove, as a symbol of peace. The colour of the lines of the dove and of the arches in the lower section of the obverse matches the colour of Mother Teresa's headscarf and sari lines. Below the dove, the nominal value, 200 Lekë, is written. The upper section features two symetric olive branches, as a symbol of peace that Mother Teresa spread throughout the nations. 

The reverse shows a portrait of Mother Teresa, centred. The name “NËNË TEREZA” (i.e. Mother Teresa) is inscribed along the top edge, between the year of her birth and the year of her death. Below the portrait, her real name “Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu” is inscribed. On the lower edge, the words “SHQIPËRI – ALBANIA 2012” are written.
